Safe and Rich river

The Geum River Flood Control Office has done the flood forecast in
Geum river and Sabgyo stream basin located in the central and southern part of South Korea.
The Geum river FCO manages the information related to water, and observed
every hydrological data.

Strategies & Goal

• Prompt and accurate flood forecast
• Accurate flood control through approval of releasing water from dam
• Provide hydrologic data
• To minimize the loss of lives and properties from flood damage
